Welcome to the BROWNSBURG JUNIOR BASKETBALL LEAGUE Online Registration System

RECREATIONAL REGISTRATION:

This BJBL registration is open to residents of Brown & Lincoln Townships in 1st - 12th Grades and will open on July 1st, Players must either live in Brownsburg or attend a Brownsburg School.

Please visit click here to view the important dates for each of these Recreational Programs. After the late registration ends, no more players will be added. Wait lists will be implemented but there are no guarantees that players on the wait list will be added.

1st through 6th Grade - Typically there is one practice throughout the week followed by games primarily on Saturdays. Some games may be played throughout the week (ie: Make-ups if rescheduled and/or Tournament Games)

7th and 8th Grade - Typically there is one practice followed by many games over the course of about 3-4 weeks (throughout the week and on Saturdays). The recreational basketball season does not interfere with 7th/8th Grade School Basketball season. School players are welcome to join this program. (Girls - primarily October and November Boys - primarily January and February)

High School Divisions (JV 9/10 and Varsity 11/12) - Typically there is one practice followed by games primarily on Sundays in January and February., Some games may be played throughout the week (ie: Make-ups and/or Tournament Games). Games in March may be played on a Saturday (for playoffs and./or last regular season game) Players that play for the High School team are not permitted to join the recreational league. There will be a boys and girls division (if there are enough players), not a combined division. Teams will have a player / team captain or co-captains that will come to the player draft. Players have the opportunity to sign up during the registration process as a team captain and help lead the teams. Please understand that not everyone that signs up to be a team captain will be selected to be one. Teams are drafted and not chosen prior to the draft. We will likely also ask that the JV divisions have a Parent Coach represent the team on the bench at all times to help maintain the bench. Parent Coach must have a background check on file to be on the bench.

Important Notes:
  • Cost is $95.00 and includes the players jersey. Please note that players will be responsible for providing their own black shorts.
  • Please note that practice and game times cannot be changed to accommodate participants.
  • Registration is not complete until payment has been submitted
  • Divisions may get combined as needed
  • If there are not enough players signed up for the particular division, we will cancel the program and issue a refund after the late registration window ends.

HOOP STARS - 2025-2026 (Special Needs)

Brownsburg Junior Basketball League is very proud to offer our Hoop Stars basketball program to the children in our community with special needs and abilities. We have expanded this program to accept kids from 1st grade through 12th grade. The goal of our Hoop Stars program is to adapt the game of basketball for all special needs and abilities, and to give kids with special needs the ability to participate in the same basketball programs that their siblings participate in.

Hoop Stars Basketball is a unique recreational basketball program because:

Placement is made by ability, not by age.
Skills sessions are adapted to the abilities of the players.
Game rules are modified to emphasize player success.
Success is not determined by the score; success is determined by happiness and fun, and measured in high fives and hugs.

Practices and games are combined on Saturdays and will take place at one of the local schools. The time will be consistent from week to week, and will be determined each season based on the number of participants.

Please click here for Key Dates for the Hoop Stars

Ideally, before the start of each season, we will assign the participants a place on either a competitive or a non-competitive Hoop Stars team in order to accommodate the wide range of abilities of our Hoop Stars basketball players.

If you have any questions regarding this program, please contact the Brownsburg Junior Basketball League Hoop Stars Directors at [email protected]

If you have any issues with the registration please contact us at [email protected]
